sry for bad comment but for me it was rly hard to control the character manly cuz of the jump which made the boss hard af ....Oh and I F*CKING HATE THE BAT. If u made it so he can be killed or some shit it would make the game better.
The boss battle was supposed to be hard, but I agree with you that the bat was a bit too much. After the gamejam i will change some things and i will keep this in mind.

Wow never expected to see a Metroidvania in this jam.
probably one of the best games of the jam. and its so polished as well.
i didn't much like the combat but overall I really liked the experience!

-The idea of the game is great.-The visual style is quite good, I liked it :)
-The gameplay mechanics are good, but it would be great if the map wasn't that pixelated.

That was fun! Thanks for putting in a lot of checkpoints, too; I feel like platformers so often don't, and it made the game feel reasonable.
